Aunt Sally Team
We are proud to have our own Aunt Sally team, who compete in Division 3 of the Banbury & District Aunt Sally League sponsored by Hook Norton Brewery. The League has been in existence for over 40 years, and is well supported by over 60 teams, in and around the Banbury area.
The league is divided into 7 Divisions - League Matches are played on Thursday evenings, Competition Matches are played throughout the season, on Tuesday evenings, with exception of the Pairs & Singles which are played on Thursday evenings at the half way point of the season.
We are the Champions!
Not only did our team win division 3 this season, one of our players was the top doll scorer in the division! Some say he can walk on water, others say he can run faster than a cheetah! All I know is they call him “The Doll”! Congratulations Graham Baldwin!
We have had a Great season only losing 3 games out of the 18 played. We were lead by our captain Keith “Roast Beef” McCormack, he is like all true leaders and does nothing!
